We deserved to win this game.
The Lakers played well. They improved. And if we kept it together for 2 more minutes, we definitely would have won. So I guess Thunder fans can say because we couldn’t close the game well, the Lakers didn’t deserve to win the game. But whatever.
Since we were already in that situation, slowly losing the lead with 2 minutes left, there’s a lot to blame. Kobe missed two shots in the last few seconds. And Steve Blake missed the last shot.
So I guess you can put the whole blame on both of them. Because Kobe missed TWO in a row. And Blake missed the last. But you can also blame the Thunder’s defense in the last possession, because they shut Kobe down. (Darryl made me realize that) Metta had to give it to Blake. Blake was wide open. It was a corner three, which he is known to make. So yes, he should have hit that shot.
Laker fans, just be grateful we improved. And we looked like we could’ve won. It’s tough, I know. I’m still fucking depressed over it. But keep it classy.
Laker haters, shut the fuck up. We played well. And we WILL be back next game.
Fuck this shit.
Tied for most blocks in a playoff game.
And a triple double for Bynum.
I like seeing a balanced offense. Everyone showed up.
Welcome to the playoffs. Big things are happening.

16 to 17!
There’s just a different level Kobe goes to when it’s the fourth quarter (or overtime, double overtime). As long as it’s the last few minutes of the game, it doesn’t matter if he shot poorly in the first 3 quarters. It doesn’t matter how “old” he is, how injured he is, how tired he is .. he just gets into Black Mamba mode and makes most, if not all, of the important shots.
Still clutch. Still the Kloser.
Obviously there are games where he can’t make the clutch shots, but I’ll put the ball in his hands with only seconds left in any game, any day.
Unless you’re not a Laker fan, in which case, this is your cue to panic.
#CoachKobe has been fun, but he’s back in the court tonight. Let’s get that W!
The team ended the photo shoot like they do every practice, with “1-2-3-RING”
